March 18, 2026 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | Wang & Qu Family Learning Resource Commons

Join us on Wednesday, March 18, for an engaging day dedicated to disability access and inclusion. The event will feature assistive technology demonstrations, hands-on activities, and interactive booths showcasing innovative tools and resources that support accessibility and inclusion.

At 9:30 a.m., featured speaker Henry Evans will share his powerful journey after losing the ability to move and speak, and how he uses augmentative communication to advocate, create music, and explore the potential of robotics to transform access for people with severe disabilities.

From 9 a.m.–4 p.m. visit a variety of booths on the second floor of the Student Services Center to learn about the latest assistive technologies and community resources.

At 1 p.m., speaker Doc Lewis will discuss his life journey, including the challenges and near-death life experiences that shaped who he is today. His presentation will be followed by a book signing of Let Me Tell You My Story.

We look forward to welcoming you for a day of community, innovation, and connection.
