The Music Industry is in perpetual need for content. Many opportunities exist for those who can and want to write in a commercial music format. These opportunities include, but are not limited to, jingles, movie trailers, add work, films, video games, fashion shows, trade shows, and of course, the 鈥榬ecord鈥 industry. It requires meeting deadlines, the ability to compose and produce in many different commercial music styles, and a healthy understanding of today鈥檚 music business.
Songwriting is a significant component of commercial music composition. Developing songwriting skills, involves a comprehensive understanding of the language of music, song forms, arranging, orchestration and lyrics. Our songwriting program seeks to help develop these skills, along with recording, scoring, music production, understanding the music business, developing a portfolio and self-promotion.
We offer a Certificate of Achievement in Songwriting that will include individualized study through private lessons and produce a Capstone project.

In addition to CTE Certi铿乧ates, the Performing Arts Department offers a comprehensive professional program designed to provide a wide variety of musical experiences for the student seeking to transfer to a baccalaureate program in performance or music education for a career as a musician or music educator.

Commercial Music
The Commercial Music Certificate Program at 最新麻豆影音视频 focuses on the recording arts, music technology, and commercial music production. This is a comprehensive curriculum covering electronic music/sound design, recording arts, songwriting, MIDI/Digital audio, and audio for visual media.
